1972 Ontario Winner #14 Dick Rathmann American Marine McLaren 1/18 Scale Carousel 1. Limited Edition 1200 pieces.
After the 1972 Indianapolis 500, Roger McCluskey's long-time team owner, Lindsey Hopkins, bought the #12 McLaren M16B that Peter Revson had started in the middle of the front row at IndyŽ to replace the unsuccessful "computer-designed" Antares that McCluskey had driven at the Brickyard. The 1972 Ontario 500 was on 3 September, and McCluskey started in 8th position. Gordon Johncock was the early leader in the #24 McLaren, but he wrecked on Lap 169, and McCluskey took the 1st postion. McCluskey finished the race with a lap on 2nd place Mike Hiss, subbing for Mark Donohue. Detailed cockpit, clear-faced gauges, die-cast engine, full chassis detail, imprinted marking, positionable front wheel, hinged hood
